Ted Sosebee
American Veterans Transit was founded on two key objectives.
Our first objective is to provide a safe and reliable transportation service to local communities.
These communities consist of an ever growing mature population of family and friends and millennial age citizens. They have different interests but belong to social groups that like or have the need to travel.
The second objective is to help educate surrounding communities in which Amvet has a passion for, Post 9/11 disabled veterans.
Amvet is dedicated to providing a portion of all tips to enable these disabled veterans opportunities that will enable them have a carefree day. AVT will donate the time and vehicle for transportation for these events. The main focus is to give back to a community that I hold dear to my heart, American Veterans.
Military & Professional
Ted Sosebee served 5 years in the US ARMY as an aviation mechanic. Ted served in seven different countries and stateside duty at Ft Bragg NC. He earned multiple accommodations while in his time in service, which included Army Achievement Medals, Southwest Asia Campaign and the Good Conduct Medal. Most notably Ted served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1990 and 1991. Ted was honorably discharged from the military in 1991.
Ted's professional career includes him earning an A.A. in business, BA in Operations Management and a MBA. Ted’s professional career has spanned multiple positions as well as companies.
A majority of his career has involved him in professional settings that included production control, planning, customer service, supply chain, supervision and operations management.
Personal
Ted and Kelli have been married for 28 years and have four children and 2 grandchildren and one on the way. Kelli is a graduate of Jefferson High School and has roots in Jackson County. They have lived in Jefferson since 2006.
We are very proud of our children and look forward to seeing each one of them prosper in their future lives.
